Profish and Hydro-Quebec are testing infrasound to guide American silver eels in a side-arm of the St Lawrence River, Region of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. At this occasion, Genivar has developped a unique experimental design : a 50-m long cage as an artificial channel that will be used to observe eel migration. A unique realisation in the world.

Profish is mandated by SPE-Luminus for a one-year study to install the bst technology available to protect young salmon smolt and silver eels at the hydroelectric power station of Lixhe, Belgian River Meuse.

The whole project should last 3 years.
